12-Hour Cancellation Policy
YFM understands that plans can change unexpectedly, and YFM strives to accommodate my clients' needs to the best of my abilities. However, to ensure efficient scheduling of YFM services and to respect the time of both my clients and me, YFM has implemented a 12-hour cancellation policy.
Policy Details:
Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, YFM kindly ask that you provide at least a 12 hours' notice. This allows YFM to offer the time slot to another who may be in need of my services. To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please refer to the email you received when you booked the appointment or any reminder emails you may have received.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations or rescheduled appointments made within less than 12 hours of the scheduled appointment time will be considered late cancellations (see exceptions below).
For YFM Contracted Clients, you may reschedule your late cancelled appointment here: YFM Appointments. If you have more than one late cancellation for the same appointment, you will be charged a $75 fee.
For YFM Individual Tax Clients you may reschedule your late cancellation appointment. There will be no refund of your appointment fee that you paid when you originally booked your appointment. You will be able to rebook your late canceled appointment one time without a fee. If you have a late cancellation a second time for the same appointment and you rebook, then you will be charged a new $75 fee. For Potential New Clients you may reschedule your late cancellation appointment only once here: YFM Appointments. There will be no refund of your appointment fee that you paid when you originally booked your appointment. You will be charged for your one time rebooking at the $75 fee. If you miss your rebooked appointment due to late cancellation for a second time, your fee will not be refunded and you will not be allowed to rebook with YFM.
Exceptions: YFM understands that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you encounter a genuine emergency that prevents you from providing the required notice, please let YFM know as soon as possible by email at smbcpa@yourfinancialmaven.com. Consideration will be given on a case-by-case basis.
No-Shows: If you fail to show up for your appointment (no matter the type) without prior notice (see cancellation and exceptions policies above), you will be considered a No-Show. For YFM Contracted Clients there will be a no-show fee of $75. An invoice for the No-Show fee will be sent within 12 hours after the No-Show appointment. For YFM Individual Tax Clients or Prospective Clients there will be no refund of fee paid at time of booking.
